AICE Media Studies

 For the Final Project, I partnered with the person I'd worked with on the previous two projects, Jack Strien. I already have him established as an efficient, hardworking partner, who is more than capable of doing his part in a project and is willing to be flexible and can adapt to any adverse conditions. However, due to the sheer size and complication of this project, neither of us felt that the project could be completed with just two people, so we needed to find more individuals to join our group. After asking some of our classmates, we found another duo who was willing to team up and work together; people who also agreed that they couldn't do it alone.  So as it stands, I'm also going to be working with two of my peers named Kaden and Kyle- I didn't get a chance to learn either of their last names, but I'm sure we will over the course of the project.   My name is Jacob Vanzile, but I prefer Jake. I wasn't originally sure to expect with this class, but I decided to stick with it because it would put me out of my comfort zone. I'm usually not comfortable with any sort of presentation, and that includes being on film as part of a school project. However, I was hoping that my experiences in the course of this class would help me grow as a person and overcome this deep-rooted anxiety that I have. It's certainly helped and I'm excited to see how the Final Project helps further. I'm also excited for the process of actually creating the Final Project, because I write as a hobby and I'm hoping I can adapt a preexisting idea of mine into a working concept. Even if that's not possible, I'm going to enjoy brainstorming and forming our concept, just because this is the type of creation that appeals directly to me.
