Storyboard Blog for Music Video Project

Scene 1: This scene begins with extreme close-ups on the actor's eyes and facial expressions and shifts between the two. There will not be much background definition, and it will last for three to five seconds.

Scene 2: This scene will consist primarily of a wide shot of the actor walking down a railroad, and will pan to follow the actor as they curve further along the track. It will last for several seconds longer than the last.

Scene 3: This scene will begin with a low angle shot and will move further up the actor's profile until the focus is on the sun. This scene will be roughly as long as the one preceding it, and will be filmed fairly far away.

Scene 4: This scene will be a still shot of the actor sitting on a curb and will be flashed very quickly (~2-3 seconds) to serve as a placeholder between two more dynamic scenes.

Scene 5: This scene will return to the shot of the sun before the still was shown, and the sun will subtly fade into a shot of a lit streetlamp, with the camera not wavering from the lamp. Overall this scene will last somewhere in the 5-10 second range.

Scene 6: This scene will begin by panning down from the streetlight to the actor walking down the road with his head down. This will be shot from behind and will likely be a wide or medium long shot.

Scene 7: This scene will be a tracking shot of the actor walking from a different angle, and will be an eye level shot as he sits on a curb. The eye level shot may possibly be tracked with the movement of the actor's eyes themselves, but this is still only a possibility.

Scene 8: This scene will show the actor in a different location, somewhere in a grassier area. The actor will begin turning and reaching out, and the camera will track with the turn itself, at a medium-long distance.

Scene 9: This scene will feature crosscutting between the actor sitting on a sidewalk, and the actor sitting on the ground in the location of the previous scene, meant to blur the lines and transition between the two occurrences. This will be shot as a medium shot.

Scene 10: This scene will take place at the sidewalk of the crosscut in the previous scene, and will feature the actor getting up from their seated position and will track as they walk away from the sidewalk.

Scene 11: This will be a medium shot from behind and will feature the actor walking to the top of a bridge, only to turn and face the camera at its crest.

Scene 12: Finally, this scene will feature the camera pivoting around the completely still actor and may be crosscut with similar shots in the other filming location to again symbolize the similarities between them.
